Flakey’s Hotham Blog began in 2008 on ski.com.au, with a range of weekly reviews of snow conditions and favourite runs, advice on your first trip to the snow and driving the Great Alpine Road, plus reports on events such as the famous Advance Sled Dog Challenge at Dinner Plain.

I first skied at Mt. Hotham in 2006, and since then have been a regular for weekends and many weeks in between. From humble beginnings, I’ve worked my way up to Racing Squad, where I’ve been experiencing life on what appears to be the “serious” side of the mountain life. However, it’s all fun and provides for interesting insights and experiences at the resort.

So from my race perspective, in 2010 I’ll be reviewing the snow conditions, and any interesting bits and pieces of information I can muster.
